GPSC workshop



Career and Counselling cell Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University organized A workshop on Civil Service Exam. The best career option through GPSC at Atal Auditorium MKBU and as Student of English Department me and other 28 students from our Department attend it with our teachers.

1st Session
In the first introductory session there were several speech by various speaker. Dr. Girish Patel Vice chancellor of University MKBU, Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasma and former Vice Chancellor Dr. Zala Sir and K. P. Swami,  they all  gave introductory speech and exposed their gratitude for opening of  new Atal Auditorium in our University.

2nd Session
Second Session is the core part of Workshop. In this we have a four Speaker/ deputy collector  One by one they gave their speech.

1.Charansinh Gohil
He is GAS deputy officer with great scored in GPSC. He is also awarded Best student award at Saurashtra University. He emphasized on three’ P’, Power, Prestige, Privilege,
He displayed his knowledge about Civil Exams and inspire us through his motivational and true story of his life and also by story of Ira Singhal. Moreover he introduce GPSC as a great opportunity for best career.

2. Veera Bhai Sambhal
Coming from middle class family He is Like a rural brand ambassador for rural students But, he told that back ground doesn’t matter, what matter is Commitment and always be ready for uncertainty of future.   He talks about his personal life and how he reach at top level in his life. By being an external student he achieved a first rank in all Bhavnagar in GPSC. He gave some inspirational quote through his real experience like, Preparation should not isolated, learning always happens and Knowledge never failed. Another is Game start now, Let’s play.

3. Vivek Tank Sir
He start his speech from beautiful lines that,
“Manjil to mil hi jayengi,  bhatkte hi sahi
Gum rah to who hai jo ghar se niklte hi nhi.”

How to prepare?.

Take benefit of golden opportunity and prepare yourself for maximum reading . Upcoming days have many opportunity for government jobs in Gujarat. So, understand the style of exam and read smartly. Do not go for various reading material just go for authentic and minimum reading material but keep revisions. Text book and NCERT book will more helpful in reading. By another beautiful poetic lines He end of his session,
“Jindagi jise jadu ka khilona kehte hai
Mil jaye to mitti kho jaye to sona hai.”


4.Pravinsinh

Excellent speech and his real life experience is highly motivational. Pravin Sir talk about some major points like…
-Try and try
-Failure gives you a best opportunity and self motivation
-Multi dimension knowledge and be healthy not only physically but mentally and socially too.
-Keep revison of your reading and consice it in written answer.
- Devlop your personality
- Burning Desire for goal and run till the end of success.

At the end, there were Question answer session. Many students ask worth asking
Question and it's also answered very well by expert. Over all very well organised and beneficial wrkshop.
