From Teacher's desk...

When I decided to do job. I thought teaching profession will teach me a great things... As when "One teaches Two learns."

Same when we becomes the part of any institution, we come across it's variety of events except teaching as Teacher! From this experiences here I like to share one interesting anecdote.

When school is far from home, students gets a lot of free time. This free time of kids and teenage creates variety of inventions as well issues. Among them one is their bad use of language in conversation. And as a concern teacher it's not a moot point. I found it as serious problem cause small kids do likewise as a consequence.

But, to tackle with secondary's students' rowdy nature is like entanglement. Although, I try to give them challenges as an interesting Riddles ..

RIDDLES

1. Give the maximum words which is the same while reading/writing from starting or ending side.

2. If you remove the first letter the pronunciation doesn't change. Remove the last letter as well and still it's same. Even if you remove the first, third and last it stays the same. Remove everything and it's still empty! Give the word...

3. Which is the word is bunch of silent words? (Clue- word is having five letter but pronunciation is in one word only!)

Except this and other Riddles like this, I found one idea worked a lot and it is this ....
I gave them one word 'Enthusiastically ' and now students have to make maximum spellings/words by using letters which is used in word enthusiastically.! & It might surprise you that  students made nearly 250 spellings ! It's really great. They start thinking in one direction on one idea... They started checking in text books and dictionary. For searching word they start reading! Any how they wants to win.

This lead me to think that new generation comes with new demands and if we update ourself with new ideas, surely we can lead students in right direction. I found it's really working idea for language learning but how to continue it? Of course It's teachers task!

Stop complaining...
Start thinking for solution.

One of my friend's (Vipul Dabhi) interesting comment on this blog.

Well observed.
• But #Children are the #Yield of a society. Their behavior reflects the atmosphere in which they live.
• The 'learning' is a two way process. A good teacher, first, always look from students' perspective because that what helps in widening the mental horizon of a teacher.
• As you mentioned in your blog,  #Update, yes it is core thing in learning.
• Creativity is important in learning.
• Involve students in some activities. Know students' s interest also.  If the interest is not valid then tell some fable.
•Specially in primary and secondary school.
• It is quite tough job to be a teacher in a school.
