Animal Welfare

Animal welfare means taking care of animals and making sure they are treated kindly. Animals, like us, feel pain, joy, and fear. They deserve to live without suffering. It is important to provide animals with food, water, and a safe place to live. We should protect them from harm and cruelty.

People can help animals in many ways.

- Not hurting or teasing animals.

-Supporting to animals laws that stop animal cruelty. Etc.,  Animals in zoos, farms, and homes should all be treated with love and respect. Some animals are kept as pets, like dogs, cats, and birds. We should give them healthy food, clean water, and take them to the vet when they are sick. Animals in the wild, like lions, elephants, and birds, also need protection. They should not be hunted or treated badly. We should protect their homes, like forests and rivers.

One way to help animals is by not using products made from animal fur or skin. Choosing to adopt pets from shelters instead of buying from breeders. Remember, animals cannot speak for themselves. It is our job to make sure they are happy and healthy.

“The greatness of a nation can be judged by the way its animals are treated.” – Mahatma Gandhi
