Book Review of Kite Runner

Khaled Hosseini is an Afghan born American novelist and physician and he is famous for his three novels
- Thousands Splendid Suns
- And the Moutains Elchoed
- The Kite Runner
Recently I completed the Kite Runner, before the reading of Kite Runner, I don't know the defination or meaning of pain.. Pain of redemption...
Pain of love in friendship...
Pain for survival and better life...
Is wonderfully captured by Khaled Hosseini.

Begining is quite different than end, and in other words colors of fertility dried up in end. Author narrates about his own country Afghanistan, the land of Pashtuns. Pashtuns are the group of people they knows themselves as 'Pure & True Afghans'. They believe that flat nose people means other group of people which is known as Hazara are pollutes Afghans. Though in heart of Afghanistan Hope, Struggle, Chaos and Pride for what they have.

In the books there is many lines through that we can understand or see boundries of orthodoxy. Amir and  Hassan both are the hero of our story. Amir is pashtun and Hassan is an only boy of Ali and they coming from Hazara group, they are working as servitor in Amir's house. There is many suspence opens in the end of book, in letter of Rahim Khan, who is the best friend Amir and Amir's father, but m not going to tell you summury, by doing that may I will spoile your eagerness of reading this book!

Assef is the character who fit in binaries oppsite side of Amir. Assef have rigid mentality for his nation and he wants to apply Hitler's Ideas to Afghanistan. He hate Hazaras and friendship of Hassan and Amir is spit in his eyes like gravels. There is one dialouge in Assef's mouth that...

" Afghanistan is the land of Pashtuns. It always has been, always will be. We are the true Afghans, the pure Afghans, not this Flat-Nose here. His people pollute our homeland, our watan. They dirty our blood." He made a sweeping, grandiose gesture with his hands. "Afghanistan for Pashtuns, I say. That's my vision."
This is the picture of racism drawn in book.

Amir lost his mother with his birth and believe that his farher is hate him for this reason and all he want is his father's love, for that he cheat with Hassan, Cheat with Hassan's deep faith in their friendship, cheat with tree on that they wrote their name..."Amir and Hassan Sultan of Kabul".

Their friendship born in fire of Assef's ruthlessness and cindery of that always burn as redemption in heart of Amir, and that's how whole story goes on.

Archetype of literature beautifully changes with the scene of life a begining's Kabul with full of joy presents in fruit of cherry and juicy pomegranate, but the 'dead wall' means the bud of plants which never grows in Amir's garden, though his father every year sow a seed , this Seed is the symbol of Hope. As the curtain opens after fade out and scene change sameway frutifulness turned into ruined wall at the end.

Boundries is another symbol , through that we can say that when someone have to go on permanant vacation means in search of home, peace... And they are leaving not only home but they are leaving their life's precious past, their whole age passed there. This everything one can not brings beyond boundry.

Kite is in the centre of Novel
'For the kite they love
& Kite made them apart
Apart for always'.

After leaving Afghanistan Amir face with real struggle for life in pakistan and then in America. He marry with the lady Soraya, death of his father is portyard as death of Afghanistan in America, which is lived in heart of him.

Last visit by Amir in Homeland, shows the terrible scene and cruelty of Talibans. Peoples suffuring for life, craving for food. Scene in that one man sellinfg his artificial leg for money, another scene is people were gather in ground and in centre there is couple and as part of punishment people throwing stone over them. Effect of Taliban's made Afghan devastates.
