Book Review of કર્ણલોક

This sentences from the book KARNLOK by Dhruv Bhatt, such a great novelist in few words he teaches the lifetime lesson to readers. Very meaningful sentences lead us in deep thinking. So here i wanna discuss my review on his book Karnlok...

T. S. Eliot's essay Tradition and Individual Talent

http://dilipbarad.blogspot.in/2014/12/t-s-eliot-tradition-and-individual.html?m=1 *Thinking activity 1)  How would you like to explain Eliot's concept of Tradition? Do you agree with it?      First of all yes, I'm agree with the idea of tradition of Eliot,  his  concept of 'Tradition' is not a very favourable term with the English who generally utilize the same as a term of censure, but in simple way Eliot says about tradition that it has a three fold  significance.  Firstly, tradition cannot be inherited and involves a great deal of labour and erudition.  Secondly, it involves the historical sense which involves apperception not only of the pastness of the past, but also of its presence.  Thirdly the historical sense... write not only with his own generation in mind, but with a feeling that the whole of the literature.  2)  What do you understand by Historical Sense? As above I mentioned that historical sense  Means knowledge of entire previous writing of

Thinking Activity on Mathew Arnold

Do you agree with Mathew Arnold's view on detachment, disinterestedness, fallaeies like historical and Personal,  Touchstone method and his definition of poetry?  I'm agree with this Arnold 's idea because when one criticise on any work this is the first need which Arnold told in his criticisms  that...critic should be like Empire who is interested in whole but see everything as witness.. Involved but not with prejudice in mind. Arnold's Touchstone Method is not 100% applicable in all the work because one can not define anything by one fragement of any work.. Another side of work can be fully different.

Wordsworth explained his poetic concept, "The majority of the following poems are to be considered as experiments they were written chiefly with view of ascertain how far the Language of conversation in the middle and lower classes of society is adopted to the purpose of poetic pleasure. The experiment with vernacular language was not enough of a departure from the norm, the focus on simple, uneducated country people as the subject of poetry. True to traditional ballad from the poems depict realistic characters in realistic situa

In this critical discussion Coleridge not only practice of criticism, but also with it’s theory. In chapter 14Coleridge’s views on nature and function of poetry is discussed in philosophical terms.  Coleridge discusses the difference between prose and poem and between poetry and poem. • Difference between prose and poem In simple way when we think about difference between prose and poem we differentiate it as the prose in paragraph and poem in rhyme or in metre but Coleridge says that the prose and poem both have the sweetest kind elements of composition but the difference is that combination of those elements and objects aimed it in both the composition. In this Post truth era all want their truth should be accepted by society.
