 On the Independence day 2018. We watched Hindi movie Lagaan at the Department of English,  MKBU . Before the screening  Sir has told us that ..’I hope you keep your eyes open and read what is between the lines and hidden within the images So, I tried my best to read most of scenes of the movie and  my views on it are expressed here… Lagaan , a popular   Bollywood  movie produced and star by Amir Khan , directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar won the audience award at the 2001..movie’s cinematography set in Gujarat and film have melodies song with an excellent story plot. But, with the change of time there is lot of change in this relationship of Teacher and Student.  Now question is that How a Teacher should be? And how a Student should be? I am student from last seventeen years so, let us first discuss about this question ‘How a Student should be?’ I try to make definition of student but I couldn’t’’  get it. But. "વિચાર એ ગુરુ "                    અમારા ઝૂંપડાએ કબીલાથી દૂર, બધી જ જીવનની વ્યસ્તતા  અને ઘર્ષણ વચ્ચે પણ ઘર એ એક એવું સ્થળ છે જ્યાં શાંતિનો અનુભવ થાય પછી ભલે એ ઝૂંપડું હોય કે મહેલ. વ્યસ્તતા તો કદી ન પૂરાતા એવા નિષ્ઠુર પેટ માટે, ને ઘર્ષણ વર્ષોથી ચાલી આવતા 'અમારું અને તમારું' એવા જ્ઞાતિભેદભાવ થી......           કેટલા દિવસ પછી એ ખુલ્લા આકાશનો દિવસ હતો . અમે છોકરીઓ પર્વત પર રમતી હતી. પર્વત પૂરો થતાં એ તારની વાડની પેલે પાર ‘એ લોકો’ ની સીમા, જ્યાં એક કબ્રસ્તાન. એ કબ્રસ્તાનની દીવાલ પર ચડીને અમુક છોકરા અમારા પર કાગળના વિમાન ઉડાડે. એ વાતથી મીરાંને વળી શું સૂઝ્યું કે વિમાનને પકડીને કાગળ ફાડી નાખ્યો ને બીજી જ ક્ષણે એની નાની બહેન જેને અમે ‘ હળવી’ કેહતા તેણે ફાટેલા કાગળો ઉઠાવી દોડીને ઘરે જઈ એ જ કાગળો સાંધી પાછું ટુકડાઓમાં વિખેરાયેલા કાગળને વિમાન બનાવી પર્વતની સીમા પર ઉડાડી દીધું....           ઘડીભરનું દ્રશ્ય એક હૃદય ને સ્પર્શી જાય તેવો સવાલ આપી ગયું. સ્વમાન ખાતર બદલાની ભાવનાથી કાગળ ફાડવું એ કે સ્વમાન ખાતર બદલાની જ ભાવનાથી એ જ કાગળ સાંધી વિમાનને પાછું ઉડાડવું... બંનેમાં રહ
