Story of Woman, kicked out from home and A Man who is enough wealthy economically but as lone as the naval in ocean. A young boy named Nandu is the skelton of whole story.


Amar prem, Immortal love 1972's film, directed by Shakti Samnta, The film star is Rajesh Khnna, well sate buisness man though he us in search of peace, love and Sharmila Tagore, who have played a role of prostitute, and the young boy Nandu becomes the reason of smile in her barren life.

Decline of human values, that how sin is in people's eye and a lady have to struggle for her life is the central theme of film.

Culcutta is the place where all the situation take place in movie, so the asence of city, color of city is shown, both dark and light side of city, from prostitute's street to durga pooja is symbolically presented. Hidden lust of every human for sexual satisfaction and how people move towards it. This all the the thing very silently film shows us. Darkness in Human nature thay can not see beyond the sterotypes and as result innocent have t suffer. Annand is the name of Hero is also highly use in contexual meaning...Does Annand  get the real Annad(happiness) throughout his life is Question for viewers.

But, at last As plant of 'Ratrani' grows, time grows and end with incomplete hope of viewers that what happen after Pushpa leave the place where Annad is living and what happen at Nandu's home when he take Pushpa with him.??? This all are Questions remain unanswerable.
