Annual Farewell Function

Day.17Th March 2018.

Yesterday night I was working till mid night, in morning I Was talking with myself that it’s all about priority. I was thinking like that because when you are knowing that the work which is done by you and nobody cares for it though you are stuck with that work.
 My morning comes with new task for me… in morning I’m mother of my home, in home where is no real mother and till the night I have to play various role in front of other as student, elder sister, friend, neighbor etc.,  

Today in morning we all are in hurry and worry only reason is farewell annual function in our department of English. Function starts with our university song  and then many other activity done by seniors.
 Dhiren Bhai Vaishnav and Bhalendra bhai buch was our chief guest of ceremony. Their speech was much inspire me on this exam time because it was not only motivate but lifelong lesson as Bhalendra sir said about five necessary thing to krep in mind and applying in life for youth
 1 Team work
2 Respect (Own self respect)
3 Casen ...be better then yesterday
4 Challenge
5 Hard work.

And in last he spoke a line of ten words and all the words have two alphabet. “If it is to be, it is to be. “Life is fun joy but we have to work for it.

After recess session is Farewell function. All the students very enthusiastically presents their skill and hard work…Memorabilia, videos, Kathhak, Dance, poetry recreation, award giving ceremony etc., afterwards Pooja Mem give small but sweet speech and share her experience as teacher in our department, Milan sir also say few words to us and he impact on Hard work.

At the last Dilip Sir talk about five P and one F.
P. priority-makes your personality
P. perseveres- डटे रहना..
P.. Punctuality… it is respect time, time will respect you!
P practice.- sir mentioned steave job's...last speech that he has to practice for hundreds of time so,  Go on doing rehearsal
P..play..always keep one game with you/something as hobby/ keep Your soul healthy never make your hobby as profession. Playing is good because Our anger, anxiety ,Poison dropped out on ground of game.
F.- fly.. We are not trees.. we have wings, to grow and keep flying.

In last sir said that you all are the Wheels and wings of department, I hope as you all are perform your learning in life. At last…
“Do it, don’t postpone.”
We are train to perform not to for excuses.

Happy Women’s Day 2018: Observed internationally on March 8, Women’s Day is a celebration of women’s achievements across nations. This day is marked as Women’s day to show respect, appreciation and love towards the females. While the first women’s day was observed back in 1909 on February 28, the date March 8 was suggested by the International Woman’s Conference to become the ‘International Woman’s Day’ in the year 1910. This day is a blend of Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day, when you get to show your respect and love for your mother, wife, sister, daughter, friend, teacher and others. The theme for this year’s International Women’s Day according to the UN Women is “Time is Now: Rural and urban activists transforming women’s lives”. This theme has been taken up as a movement for the rights, equality and justice for women after movement like #MeToo and #TimesUp were taken up (This is the news in finacialexpress )

 Educated People are saying and passing hundred of messages on social media that Today we have to remember that all life spring from women, look at the world and smile that without women, life would have been impossible. But I observed that the only one day showing respect to women and saying goody goody things about them and praising their success story. Is it really celebration? and Why there is need of celebrate women’s day?

 On this day we are talking about gender equality yet we are not on the path of equality we are making difference between men and women by telling our success story we are proving them that we were weaker than Man and now with the struggle we are with you in the race. Isn’t we upholding this idea???

 In the past on the name of women’s chastity, vandalism in male dominant society with women’s success and now a days on the name of sacrament, nobody seeing paralytic wing in cage of women’s life. Now a days we are constantly talking about feminism but, as showing and displaying both are different, the same way talking about it and really applying it in real life both the thing are far different. Chetan Bhgat writes in his books that… Feminism is a movement that seeks to define, establish and achieve equal political economic, cultural, personal and social rights for women. A feminist is someone who believes in this movement and further he says that Everything doesn’t need hi-fi labels like feminism. Just logic . If I can do it , you can do it. On the other side what Brazilian writer Paulo Coehlo recently said on publication of his latest novel that…”Feminism was a nightmare, Women lost this feminine side by trying to be feminists. I'm totally against this. I think that we are different genders, so we have to get the best of ourselves.” he said.

I found that what Coehlo is saying is right…why we women are wish to be like man instead of Human? We have to came out from this all stereotypes and man also should try to understand that feminist are not anti-male, they just want free spaces which man have already in society. After all freedom is the candle, wants to inflame, if patriarchy will go against them they will burn like wrath of torch.

Truth, Fact, Fiction, Lies.

*What literary writers write is Fiction. Plato calls it lies and hence poets are liers. Lie is non fact and it manipulate others, lies are seldom completely harmless;often dangerous and in other side Fiction is Harmless.This is the basic difference between lies and fiction. Truth ,Fact , Fiction and lies, When it comes to make opinion about Literature? -Ursula K. Le Guin. Now as per my view Truth is flexible because Everyone have their point of view and may it is truth for them but at the same time this truth is lie for onther one. Thus ,truth is not one and etrnal truth. Post-truth idea is all about it. If we talk about Lie Now a days, in politics, advertisment/marketing, eductional authority everywhere most of people's wepon is lies, spreading silver coverded lies. Thus, lies are harmfull in one another way. Sun rise in East this is eternal fact...but in the poetry if poet want to make sentence that.. પશ્ચિમ ઉગ્યા સૂરજ. Means sun rise in west it is fictional, it is not lie but it is only imagination of poet's mind. Thus, fact ,fiction , truth and lies all have their different meaning in different place and with different people.
